About JS Wood Flooring

Company History

JS Wood Flooring has been serving the New York area since 1985. What began with local residential work in Brooklyn has grown into complete wood flooring services — installation, sanding, refinishing and repair — for homes, ballrooms, gymnasiums, offices and commercial spaces across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Our clients include homeowners as well as builders, architects and interior designers who need a flooring partner they can rely on from start to finish.

Our Approach

We believe good floors come from good preparation: honest advice on materials, careful subfloor work and finishes matched to how the space is actually used. We work with solid hardwood, traditional Tongue & Groove, classic parquet, engineered wood, vinyl and laminate.

Every job is measured and priced up front — you get a clear, free estimate before any work begins.
